Men's Ministry

Men’s Breakfast
Are held on a regular basis to get men together for fellowship (usually on Saturday mornings).
Men’s Bible Study
Each Saturday morning from 7:30am until 9:00am men meet at Hope to learn, understand, and grow in the knowledge of God’s Word. We sing together, pray and praise God as we share the scriptures meaning and try to apply it to our everyday living.

.
Ushers
An opportunity for men to minister to the people of Hope Church and to help keep the services organized at the same time. You might help pass out bulletins, help seat people, serve Communion, or be a smile of encouragement as you shake hands with those coming to worship the Lord.
.
Helpers
There are so many activities and events happening at Hope Church. As a helper you could be part of a group of men willing to be called upon to, perhaps, set up tables and chairs for those events or possibly be a food server at the Ladies Christmas Gathering, or perhaps help in other areas that need your helping hand.
.
Men’s Retreats
Overnights designed to help men grow in Godly wisdom. Retreats could include various speakers, sports activities, and workshops offering topics to help men apply God’s Word to everyday living or even events like the Promise Keepers Seminars. These are wonderful ways for men to encourage one another to continue "running the race with Jesus." Would you be interested?

Day of Prayer
From 7:00am until 11:00am on the first Saturday of September, November, January, March, May, and July (unless changed) men (and women) come to the sanctuary of Hope Church. Each person attending chooses a spot in the sanctuary to quietly pray. Under the glow of candlelight, soft lighting, and background music there is an atmosphere of reverence. Each person takes their own time to silently talk with Jesus, meditate on Scripture and praise God. You may come for a few minutes or you are welcome to stay through the entire morning. Either way, the day of prayer is a wonderful way for men (and women) to set a Spiritual example and to draw closer to Jesus.
