Our Vision

Here at Hope, our vision is to present the gospel of Jesus Christ to our surrounding communities by living our lives as devoted followers of Jesus. We have desire to be a people with a passion for loving God and sharing His Eternal Salvation. Our vision and purpose at Hope begins right here in our neighboring communities, but we also believe that God has called us to represent Him in word and deed throughout the world.  We are part of a larger movement called the Christian and Missionary Alliance (http://www.cmalliance.org). The Christian and Missionary Alliance is an alliance of Jesus Followers (sometimes called evangelical believers) joined together throughout the world in local churches. We are Christian, because we believe and follow Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We are Missionary, because we are committed to reaching out to those who have not yet recieved the free gift of Eternal Salvation through Jesus Christ.

We hold to the inerrancy of Scripture and believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. The Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination is committed to evangelism, discipleship, and church planting among un-reached and responsive peoples worldwide. We train and send into service only those who are sound in faith, filled with the Spirit of God, and have a passion for reaching those without Christ. The Alliance is committed to good stewardship.

The Christian and Missionary Alliance message is that Jesus Christ is adequate to meet the needs of the whole individual. He is exalted as:
- the living Word of God
- the supreme Revelation of divine love
- the sacrificial Lamb of God who alone provides salvation for humankind
- the sufficient One for every need of body and soul; the only hope for a world of lost people
- the Coming King

Our emphasis on the Person of Jesus Christ grows out of a loyalty to the authority and inerrancy of Scripture. Our emphasis on holy living and the Holy Spirit's power for service grows out of the clear teaching from the Holy Bible.
